Imagine traveling to Italy and not only taking in the stunning sights but also meeting with talented artisans and creatives like Mia Sorrentino of MIASO, a designer extraordinaire in Rome. Thanks to the power of social media networking, my friend Claire made this dream a reality. You see, Claire has a knack for connecting with inspiring individuals from all walks of life, and her passion for building a community of like-minded creatives knows no bounds.

How I Met Claire

It all started with a chance meeting at a networking event where I was introduced to Rosie, who, in turn, introduced me to the wonderful, creative woman Claire. From there, Claire opened the doors to a world of creative women, introducing me to Sue Casey, Elizabeth Crane Swartz, and Rosie of Thriving After All, all talented artists and creatives in their own right. Our group now embarks on studio trips and lunches, bonding over our shared love for art and creativity.

But Claire's networking skills don't stop there. She recently introduced me to her Italian friends, Beatrice Sannino Collective and Angela Liguori of Studio Carta, both exceptionally talented designers with a deep-rooted passion for their craft. Meeting these women, learning from them, and being inspired by their creativity have not only enriched my life but also fueled my own creativity.

Through Claire's friendship, I've come to realize the immense power of networking. It's not just about making connections; it's about fostering a sense of community and learning from the experiences and perspectives of others. Claire's fearless approach to networking, her willingness to step out of her comfort zone, and her genuine curiosity have inspired me to do the same.
